Researching collaborative tools

We are currently working with other practitioners in researching a range the online tools and systems. There are a host of tools for collaboration and for synchronous and asynchronous working. Many businesses have found these tools to be essential in implementing projects and team working while employees have been forced to work from home during COVID-19. This has opened up opportunities to develop methods to continue to use these tools to support flexible working practices and for teams spread across countries and time zones. The “future of work” is unclear, however, what is clear is the efficiency and effectiveness of these tools in enhancing coordination and collaboration of remote teams.
