Business Improving Practical Session

Another excellent simulation session at the Business Improvement Academy. The simulation is designed to build pressure upon all the elements of the process to demonstrate how bottlenecks, stress points and wasteful activities can impact upon quality, cost and delivery of the product to the customer. Following the first run the delegates are able to use lean tools such as process mapping, Pareto charts and fishbone diagram to highlight the issues and identify opportunities to improve process, organisation and flow for the second run. The delegates achieved double the output to the customer and reduced costs by 66%! A fun and insightful way to show how the lean tools can be used to delight the customer eliminate waste and improve performance.
